Great detail! No surpise with McFarlane figures and here we are not disappointed. The pack has an entrenching tool and bayonet, he's carrying an extra - different style - canteen we can assume he "acquired" for the intense heat, k-bar, med-kit, etc. On most figures the mouth is closed but here he is showing his "war face". I was amused, and impressed, to see individual teeth! THAT's detail.

Its a fair question. I have other Spawn figures and I thought that I was done collecting actual figures of Spawn...but I was wrong. The figure is as cool as the picture shows, but one wont really appreciate it until they actually hold the figure and admire the awesome artistry. Spawn fans beware: assembling the figure is a mission in and of itself. While the figure is durable, take care when assembling it so that you dont get hurt. The figure is sturdy enough (it fell from atop a six foot bookshelf onto a wooden floor and there was not a scratch to be noticed nor did anything break) so you dont have to worry about it breaking. And you once you assemble (and by assembly I mean attach the wings and then attach the figure to base, thats it) you will have to play around with balancing the Spawn on that base so that it doesn't fall forward or backward. Once you have it fully assembled and posed, you will be grateful for having made the purchase. McFarlane has done it again. And man, am I grateful!

Marvel Legends Sentinel Series Figure: Omega Red Review

From the Sentinel Series, (or Series 10), is the Omega Red action figure. He's fantastic!! It's the same body sculpt as the Venom figure from the Spiderman Sinister Six boxed set and Sabretooth from Marvel Legends 5, so he's big and the articulation is very good. All of the joints were tight and nicely concealed on this figure. The paint job is very good and there are a lot of nice details on this figure that make him a must-have for kids and collectors. He is definitely one of the very best figures in the Sentinel series. He comes with a comic book that kids will enjoy reading and 2 "bendy" tentacles that attach to his wrists for capturing X-Men. As I mentioned, he is part of the Sentinel Series. Which means 2 things this time-you get a wall mountable display base AND you get a piece of the Sentinel's huge 16-inch body. The display base is simply a pedestal-style base of clear plastic to make the character seem as if they are flying or in the middle of a jump. But, it can be placed on the wall or on a sturdy, flat surface for displaying. It is basically the same base that came with the Vision and Deadpool figures. When you get 6 of the 7 figures in this series (Mystique and Omega Red have the same body piece), the pieces can be joined together to make the 8th figure in the series-the Sentinel!! The massive, mechanical menace that hunts down the X-Men and other mutants and eliminates them. Everyone will surely buy all the figures they will need in order to get the Sentinel. It truly looks awesome when it is assembled. Then again, the character selection in this series is so exciting; you'll want to buy them regardless of the Sentinel. This figure is not that well stocked, so finding another may not be easy. ToyBiz is trying to make sure there is enough of every character so that everyone has a chance to build the Sentinel. Get him because he will go fast.

Polybag Rainforest Review

The description lists the animals as Cheetah, Warthog, Baboon, Macaq, and an Okapi. This is incorrect. The animals in the image are a Leopard (or should be as cheetahs aren't rain forest cats), Sloth (left side below leopard), Malayan Tapir (bottom left) and Okapi (bottom right). Neither a Macaque nor a Warthog are pictured. The image of the Baboon is probably correctly identified but difficult to confirm from the image.

The set is nice for introducing children to the Okapi, Malayan Tapir and Sloth. Children already know about cats and monkeys so those pieces are ancillary and will often be duplicated in other sets. A set like this would be better suited to include something like a Binturong.

My son loves diego AND is a crazy about trucks, cars, tractors etc. So this was a perfect combination! I like that the one reviewer said it was durable and had stood the tests of her 3 year old son....my son is very active and PLAYS with his toys and I am hoping it holds up as well as she said :D

I was really hesitant to get Jolt based on his robot form, but being a huge fan of the Chevy Volt, I really had no choice. Luckily, the box art photos showed Jolt at his worst and he is actually awesome. The legs are portrayed as clunky and thick like Jolt is a large man with a bath towel. His arms are shown as being thin limp curves. His legs can be posed to look agile and powerful and his arms aren't nearly as bad as the picture suggests. I uploaded some photos you've probably already seen so as you can tell, Jolt is much better looking in person. The panels on his back can be arranged in different formations and you'll most likely find a position that pleases you.
