Captain Antilles - 12" Militaries of Star Wars Figure [Toy] [Toy] [Toy] [Toy] Review

was represented in Star Wars IV by C3-PO and was sorely lacking in character in Star Wars III, just a "quickie" here is Antillies, now to the next scene! Same with Tarkin, very important characters just thrown in the last movie for apeasment! Still a collector's item all of us 1970's real star wars fans always wanted to know "who this antillies was?" he was the first Captain(3po and r2) came in contact with aboard the cruse ship attacked later in #4! He captained it then too, but no real reference even in #3! "Porkins", people is -NOT- the Y-wing captain and never said "Stay on target!" that was another! the unshaven fat guy we all love and loath is an X-wingman on the Red Leader's main squad. Skywalker was in some other sqaud.(blue or gold). He took over when the others were swatted out!

The men and women of the Rebel Alliance are fiercely dedicated to the principle of freedom and their belief in democracy, willing to lay down their lives to see the fall of the Empire. Some were Imperials disillusioned with their government's tyranny. Some were from worlds subjugated by the Empire. In stark contrast to the faceless anonymity of the stormtrooper ranks or the precision drilling of Imperial Academy training, Alliance troops were aggressively individualistic and much more rag-tag.
Princess Leia led a desperate mission in the battle against the Empire, delivering the stolen plans for the Death Star to the Rebellion in hope that Rebellion forces might find a weakness in the battle station's engineering. Leia's ship, the Tantive IV, was captured by Lord Vader near the desert world of Tatooine, and Vader's forces wasted no time boarding the blockade runner.
Aboard the Tantive IV, Vader's troops are quick to begin interrogating its crew for information on the stolen Death Star plans believed to be on board. Lord Vader has little patience in his inquisition. Vader chooses to make an example of the commander of the Tantive IV, Captain Raymus Antilles. The captain has lead his crew through many battles against the Empire, destroying six Imperial shipyards and saving ferries of Rebel captives from certain death. A fearless ally of the Rebel Alliance, Captain Antilles refuses to give up any information on the plans' whereabouts standing firm in defense of his cause.
